Full moon ritual

Let’s bring back this

ancient ritual!

Full moon rituals have a rich history rooted in various cultures and traditions around the world. They are first and foremost an opportunity for community bonding, and a moment of reflection, of sharing, of joy and of excitement for the future.

The moon as a symbol.

The moon represents the cyclical nature of life and the continuous process of growth and transformation that happens in nature, and in each of us. Because the full moon marks the peak of the lunar cycle, (after that it will start to wane), it represents the culmination of a process and is traditionally seen as a time of completion. It is a time to let go, in order to make space for the new.

Historically, many ancient civilizations held ceremonies during the full moon, viewing it as a powerful time for spiritual practices. One theory is that as the moon reaches its brightest point, its light helps to reveal hidden aspects of our lives and to illuminate areas of our lives that require attention. This makes it a natural time to let go of things that no longer serve us and our highest good—whether that be negative thoughts, emotions, or unhealthy habits, and to set intentions for the future.

What to expect

If you’ve done a full moon ritual before, you’ll know there is no textbook methodology. It begins with creating a sacred space to reflect, release, and recharge. The ritual will include the following activities:

  • Guided Meditation: a deeply calming meditation that helps you connect with your inner self and the energy of the moon

  • Live music: a unique musical experience where Naín uses the healing power of sound and combines musical techniques

  • Sound Healing: a soothing sound bath with Tibetan bowls, enhancing the ritual and promoting deep relaxation

  • Release & cleansing activity: a release of negative energy and limiting beliefs

  • Intention Setting: a guided intention-setting exercise, allowing you to focus on your goals and aspirations

  • Tea tasting: a mix of herbal teas and infusions to keep you hydrated, and learn about the medicinal properties of these plants.

Who can join

This session is open to everyone. You will be sitting on a mat and lying down and will require no physical effort. This ritual is recommended for anyone looking to deepen their connection with themselves and the natural rhythms of the universe.
